Human Anti-Cytokeratin 10/13 Antibody Product Attributes
Cytokeratin 10/13 Previously Observed Antibody Staining Patterns
Observed Antibody Staining Data By Tissue Type:
Variations in Cytokeratin 10/13 antibody staining intensity in immunohistochemistry on tissue sections are present across different anatomical locations. An intense signal was observed in epidermal cells in the skin and keratinocytes in skin. More moderate antibody staining intensity was present in epidermal cells in the skin and keratinocytes in skin. Low, but measureable presence of Cytokeratin 10/13 could be seen in. We were unable to detect Cytokeratin 10/13 in other tissues. Disease states, inflammation, and other physiological changes can have a substantial impact on antibody staining patterns. These measurements were all taken in tissues deemed normal or from patients without known disease.

General Description of Cytokeratin 10/13. | |
This antibody recognizes cytokeratin 10 (56.5kDa), cytokeratin 13 (53kDa) in Western Blot. It recognizes only cytokeratin 13 in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections. It does not react with cytokeratin 10 positive, cytokeratin 13 negative epithelia such as epidermis. However, on frozen sections this MAb serves as differentiation-related marker of all stratified epithelia; it stains all suprabasal cells in both cornifying, non-cornifying stratified epithelia, more differentiated cells of squamous carcinomas. |
