Human Anti-Lipocalin 2 / NGAL Antibody Product Attributes
Lipocalin 2 / NGAL Previously Observed Antibody Staining Patterns
Observed Antibody Staining Data By Tissue Type:
Variations in Lipocalin 2 / NGAL antibody staining intensity in immunohistochemistry on tissue sections are present across different anatomical locations. An intense signal was observed in glandular cells in cervix, uterine, hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. More moderate antibody staining intensity was present in cells in red pulp in spleen, glandular cells in stomach, respiratory epithelial cells in bronchus and nasopharynx. Low, but measureable presence of Lipocalin 2 / NGAL could be seen in epidermal cells in skin, glandular cells in salivary gland. We were unable to detect Lipocalin 2 / NGAL in other tissues. Disease states, inflammation, and other physiological changes can have a substantial impact on antibody staining patterns. These measurements were all taken in tissues deemed normal or from patients without known disease.
