Human Anti-TIMP1 Antibody Product Attributes
TIMP1 Previously Observed Antibody Staining Patterns
Observed Subcellular, Organelle Specific Staining Data:
Anti-TIMP1 antibody staining is expected to be primarily localized to golgi apparatus.
Observed Antibody Staining Data By Tissue Type:
Variations in TIMP1 antibody staining intensity in immunohistochemistry on tissue sections are present across different anatomical locations. An intense signal was observed in glandular cells in prostate. More moderate antibody staining intensity was present in glandular cells in cervix, uterine, islets of Langerhans in pancreas, glandular cells in rectum and salivary gland. Low, but measureable presence of TIMP1 could be seen in glandular cells in adrenal gland, respiratory epithelial cells in bronchus, glandular cells in duodenum and endometrium, exocrine glandular cells in pancreas, glandular cells in parathyroid gland, epidermal cells in skin, glandular cells in stomach. We were unable to detect TIMP1 in other tissues. Disease states, inflammation, and other physiological changes can have a substantial impact on antibody staining patterns. These measurements were all taken in tissues deemed normal or from patients without known disease.
