Canine MCP 2 Bioactive Protein Product Attributes
Product Type: Bioactive Protein
Recombinant MCP 2 based upon sequence from Canine
Host: QP10782 protein expressed in E. Coli.
Available Tags: Untagged
Protein Construction: A cDNA sequence encoding the sequence of MCP 2 was constructred and used to recombinantly synthesize the protein.
Recommended Applications: Bioactive
Application Notes
Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized MCP2 in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood monocytes is in a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml.
Amino Acid Sequence: QPDSVSIPIT CCFSMVKRKI PMQKLESYMR ITNSQCPQEA VIFKTKASRE ICADPKQKWV QDYMNHLDQK SQAQKP
Purity: Greater than 98.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Levels: < 1.0 EU per ug protein as determined by the LAL method.
Buffer: MCP-2 protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized MCP-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL8 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
