Application Notes
Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Rantes in sterile 18MΩ.cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: The biological activity determined by a chemotaxis bioassay using human peripheral blood monocytes is in a concentration range of 1.0-10 ng/ml.

Endotoxin Levels: < 1.0 EU per ug protein as determined by the LAL method.
Buffer: Rantes protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in 20mM PB pH 6.0 and 500mM NaCl.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Rantes although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL5 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
