Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Actin in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 1 mg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: Untested
Purity: Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Levels: Not Determined. Testing recommended prior to use in cell culture and can be performed upon request.
Buffer: The protein was lyophilized from a 1 mg/ml solution containing 10mM Tris/HCl buffer pH 8.0, 0.2mM CaCl2, 0.2mM ATP, 1mM DTT and 0.5% (w/v) SDS.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Actin although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Actin should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
