Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized EGFR in sterile PBS not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Buffer: ErbB1 was lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) sterile solution containing 1x PBS pH 7.4.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized EGFR although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution EGFR should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

| The EGFR contains the extracellular domain of the human EGFR (25-647 AA ) excluding the signal peptide which is cleaved by the insect cells having an approximate MW of 85kDa. The EGFR is fused to a C-terminal Strep-tag and purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants. | |
