Concentration of Human Small Nuclear Ribonucleoprotein, 70kDa Protein: A Certificate of nalysis (CofA) will be sent along with the protein and will contain lot specific concentration information.

Buffer: U1-snRNP is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH 7.5, 0.01mM EDTA and 0.02% SDS.
Storage Conditions: Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

It is fused to a 6x His tag. The expected molecular weight of this protein is 44.8 kDa (U1-snRNP 68 is highly charged and migrates more rapidly in SDS-PAGE leading to an apparent 55-56 kDa molecular weight for this molecule). | |
