DISCONTINUED: Poly-HRP Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Secondary Antibody Antibody Product Attributes
This poly-HRP secondary antibody has been tested to react with Mouse primary antibodies in immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Does not cross-react with human, bovine, or equine. Other species not tested.
Tested Applications: Immunohistochemistry.
Application Notes: If additional reduction of non-specific signal is required, blocking with 5-10% Normal Goat Serum (NGS) is recommended.
Clonality: Polyclonal
Host: Goat
Buffer and Stabilizer: Pre-dilute antibody is in proprietary signal enhancement buffer composed of protein based blocking agent (non-BSA), non-ionic detergent, preservative (non-azide), and HRP-stabilizer at pH 7.4.
Antibody Concentration: 100-400 ul per IHC test.
Antibody Purification Method:Antibody is initially purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation followed by cross-adsorption to ensure minimal cross-reactivity to human, bovine, and equine antibodies. Purification of SingleStep™ poly-HRP conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary is achieved via size exclusion liquid chromatography.
Immunogen: Generation of this anti-Poly-HRP Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Secondary Antibody antibody was achieved by immunizing a Goat host with Pooled population of Mouse IgG
Frequently Used Alternate Names: Poly-HRP Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse Whole IgG Secondary, HRP Polymer Conjugated Goat Anti-Mouse Whole IgG Secondary(Additional alternate names exist but are infrequently used and possibly ambiguous).
General Information for Poly-HRP Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Secondary Antibody: SingleStep™ Poly-HRP (Horse Radish Peroxidase) conjugated goat anti-mouse secondary antibodies provide signal amplification over traditional HRP conjugated reagents in immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining using primary antibodies from a mouse host. The signal amplification afforded by these HRP polymer conjugated antibodies is sufficient to enable application of a single secondary antibody unlike standard HRP conjugated reagents which utilize an unconjugated or biotinylated secondary antibody and then an additional HRP conjugated secondary antibody or HRP conjugted streptavidin to visualize staining. These additional staining steps increase background staining and variability between samples which is obviously undesirable in IHC. SingleStep™ goat anti-mouse poly-HRP secondary antibodies are sourced from the industry leading secondary antibody manufacturer (you’re probably already using these in your lab) and are then conjugated to a carefully controlled number of HRP molecules to facilitate excellent tissue penetration without sacrificing signal amplification. Our predilute products also incorporate our enhanced IHC staining buffer which contains optimized stabilizers and blocking reagents to ensure maximum sensitivity and high reproducibility in IHC in most sample types.
Storage Conditions: Store at 4 C. Do not freeze. Stable for >1 year if stored properly.
