Variations in IFNG / Interferon Gamma antibody staining intensity in immunohistochemistry on tissue sections are present across different anatomical locations. Low, but measureable presence of IFNG / Interferon Gamma could be seen inadipocytes in mesenchymal tissue, cells in the endometrial stroma in endometrium, cells in the glomeruli in kidney, cells in the tubules in kidney, fibroblasts in skin, glandular cells in the adrenal gland, appendix, cervix, uterine, duodenum, epididymis, gallbladder, parathyroid gland, rectum, seminal vesicle, small intestine and stomach, keratinocytes in skin, Langerhans in skin, Leydig cells in the testis, macrophages in lung, melanocytes in skin, myocytes in heart muscle and skeletal muscle, neuronal cells in the hippocampus, non-germinal center cells in the tonsil, pneumocytes in lung, respiratory epithelial cells in the nasopharynx, smooth muscle cells in the smooth muscle, squamous epithelial cells in the oral mucosa and urothelial cells in the urinary bladder. We were unable to detect IFNG / Interferon Gamma in other tissues. Disease states, inflammation, and other physiological changes can have a substantial impact on antibody staining patterns. These measurements were all taken in tissues deemed normal or from patients without known disease.Observed Antibody Staining Data By Tissue Disease Status:
