General Description of Anti-CD32.
The 2.4G2 antibody is specific for a common epitope found in the extracellular regions of mouse Fc-receptors Fc-gamma II (CD32) and Fc-gamma III (CD16). These receptors are expressed by B cells, monocytes, macrophages, NK cells, dendritic cells, and neutrophils.

Anti-CD16/CD32 Previously Observed Antibody Staining Patterns

Observed Antibody Staining Data By Tissue Type:

Variations in CD16 / CD32 antibody staining intensity in immunohistochemistry on tissue sections are present across different anatomical locations. Low, but measureable presence of CD16 / CD32 could be seen in cells in the seminiferous ducts in testis, epidermal cells in the skin, exocrine glandular cells in the pancreas, germinal center cells in the lymph node, glandular cells in the epididymis, fallopian tube, gallbladder, salivary gland, stomach and thyroid gland, lymphoid tissue in appendix, macrophages in lung, myocytes in heart muscle, respiratory epithelial cells in the bronchus and nasopharynx, squamous epithelial cells in the cervix and uterine, oral mucosa and vagina. We were unable to detect CD16 / CD32 in other tissues. Disease states, inflammation, and other physiological changes can have a substantial impact on antibody staining patterns. These measurements were all taken in tissues deemed normal or from patients without known disease.
