Application Notes
Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Angiostatin K1-4 in sterile 18MΩ.cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: Human Angiostatin Kringles 1-4 significantly inhibits basic-FGF induced endothelial cell proliferation and migration at concentration ranging from 300nM-1.0 uM.
Purity: Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Levels: < 1.0 EU per ug protein as determined by the LAL method.
Buffer: Lyophilized from a (1 mg/ml) solution in containing 20mM Hepes buffer pH 8.2 & 20mM NaCl.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Angiostatin Kringles 1-4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Angiostatin Kringles1-4 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
