Human BMP10 Bioactive Protein Product Attributes

Product Type: Bioactive Protein
Recombinant BMP10 based upon sequence from Human
Host: QP10536 protein expressed in HEK 293.
Available Tags: Untagged
Protein Construction: A cDNA sequence encoding the sequence of BMP10 was constructred and used to recombinantly synthesize the protein.
Recommended Applications: Bioactive
Application Notes
Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized BMP10 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: The specific activity was determined by its ability to induce alkaline phosphatase production in the ATDC-5 cell line and is typically 4.0-6.0 ng/ml ED50.
Amino Acid Sequence: NAKGNYCKRT PLYIDFKEIG WDSWIIAPPG YEAYECRGVC NYPLAEHLTP TKHAIIQALVHLKNSQKASK ACCVPTKLEP ISILYLDKGV VTYKFKYEGM AVSECGCR
Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by analysis by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis.
Endotoxin Levels: < 1.0 EU per ug protein as determined by the LAL method.
Buffer: The BMP10 protein was lyophilized from 10mM Sodium Citrate, pH 2.7 and 75mM NaCl .
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized BMP10 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution BMP10 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
