Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized IL-28B in sterile water not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: The specific activity was determined by the dose dependent protection of the cytopathic effect on A549 cells (human lung adenocarcinoma epithelial cell line) that were challenged with encephalomyocarditis (EMC) virus and is typically 0.1-1ng/ml.

Upon reconstitution IL28B should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
