General Description of Recombinant Mouse Midkine.
Mouse Midkine produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 120 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 13.3kDa. The Midkine Mouse is purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.

Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Midkine Mouse in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: Fully biologically active when compared to standard. Determined by its ability to chemoattract human neutrophils using a concentration range of 10-100 ng/ml corresponding to a specific activity of 10,000-100,000IU/mg.

Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Midkine Mouse although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Midkine Mouse should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
