General Description of Recombinant Mouse TNFR.
Mouse TNFR produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 191 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 21.1kDa. The TNFR is purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.

Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized TNFR in sterile 18M-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: The ED50 as determined by its ability to inhibit the TNF-? mediated cytotoxicity in the L-929 cells is less than 1.0 µg/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 1000 IU/mg in the presence of 0.1 ng/mL of rMuTNF-a.

Endotoxin Levels:
Buffer: TNFR protein was lyophilized from a 0.2µm filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH 7.4.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized TNFR although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18C. Upon reconstitution TNFR should be stored at 4C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
