Protein Construction: A cDNA sequence encoding the sequence of Fibronectin was constructred and used to recombinantly synthesize the protein. This protein is made to amino acids 33-1007 of the bovine fibronectin protein.

Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: Purified bovine fibronectin has a tendency to form insoluble aggregates upon reconstitution. We suggest to reconstitute the 1 mg Fibronectin with a chaotropic agent such as urea at room temperature at a concentration of 0.2 mg/ml using sterile water. Let stand 1-2 hours.

Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Levels: Not Determined. Testing recommended prior to use in cell culture and can be performed upon request.
Buffer: The Bovine Fibronectin was lyophilized from a concentrated 1 mg/ml solution containing 0.05M Tris Cl pH 7.5 and 0.1M NaCl.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized bovine Fibronectin although stable at room temperature for 1 week, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Fibronectin should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
