General Description of Recombinant Human PKAR-I alpha.
Human PKA regulatory subunit I a is a dimeric 86kDa protein (the monomer is 381 aa 43kDa). PKAR-I alpha is purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.

Human PKAR-I alpha Recombinant Protein Product Attributes

Product Type: Recombinant Protein
Recombinant PKAR-I alpha based upon sequence from Human
Host: QP13062 protein expressed in E. Coli.
Available Tags: Untagged
Protein Construction: A cDNA sequence encoding the sequence of PKAR-I alpha was constructred and used to recombinantly synthesize the protein.
Recommended Applications: See Application Notes
Application Notes
Other Applications: The cAMP-dependent protein kinase, regulatory subunit RIa reversibly inhibits the catalytic subunit Ca of the cAMP-dependent protein kinase PKA. The inhibition of the catalytic subunit can be reversed by the addition of the second messenger cAMP.
