General Description of Recombinant Human RB1.
Human Retinoblastoma fused with 6X His tag produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 146 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 16.5 kDa. The Retinoblastoma is purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.

Human RB1 Recombinant Protein Product Attributes

Product Type: Recombinant Protein
Recombinant RB1 based upon sequence from Human
Host: QP13275 protein expressed in E. Coli.
Available Tags: His
Protein Construction: A cDNA sequence encoding the sequence of RB1 was constructred and used to recombinantly synthesize the protein.
Recommended Applications: See Application Notes
Application Notes
Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Retinoblastoma in sterile 18MΩ.cm H2O not less than 100 µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: Untested
Amino Acid Sequence: MASFPSSPLRIPGGNIYISPLKSPYKISEGLPTPTKMTPRSRILVSIGESFGTSEKFQKINQMVCNSDRVLKRSAEGSNPPKPLKKLRFDIEGSDEADGSKHLPGESKFQQKLAEMTSTRTRMQKQKMNDSMDTSNKEEKHHHHHH
Purity: Greater than 95.0% as determined by:(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Levels: Not Determined. Testing recommended prior to use in cell culture and can be performed upon request.
Buffer: The RB1 (1 mg/ml) was lyophilized after extensive dialyses against 1xPBS pH 7.4.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Retinoblastoma although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Retinoblastoma should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
