General Description of Recombinant Mouse VEGF (121 a. a. ).
Mouse Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor-121 produced in E. Coli is a homodimer, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 121 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 28.4 kDa. Recombinant Mouse VEGF-121 is a truncated version of Murine VEGF-165. The VEGF-121 is purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.

Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized VEGF-121 in sterile 18MΩ.cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Buffer: The protein was lyophilized from a concentrated (1 mg/ml) solution with no additives.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized VEGF-121 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution VEGF-121 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
