Concentration of Chicken Leptin Receptor Protein: Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 2.45 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% (1 mg/ml) solution. This value is calculated by the PC GENE computer analysis program of protein sequences (IntelliGenetics). 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a calibrated solution of Leptin Binding Domain as a Reference Standard.
Endotoxin Levels: Not Determined. Testing recommended prior to use in cell culture and can be performed upon request.
Buffer: The protein was filter sterilized and stored at 4°C (0.2 to 0.5 mg/ml) solution of Tris-HCl buffer, pH 9.0 with 150mM NaCl.
Storage Conditions: Sterile solutions at 0.5 mg/ml or less are stable at 4°C for several months.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered colorless solution at a concentration of 0.4 mg/ml.
