Summary:Cyclin dependent kinase inhibitor leading to cell cycle arrest in G1 phase. Member of Cip/Kip family of proteins. Loss or reduced expression is associated with poor outcome in carcinoma of breast, prostate, GI tract and lung. Interpretation Nuclear stain.
