General Description of Recombinant Human CSTA.
Human Cystatin A produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, Polypeptide chain containing 118 amino acids (1-98AA ) and having a molecular mass of 13.1 kDa. The Cystatin A is fused to a 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus and purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.
