General Description of Recombinant Human MECOM.
Human MECOM produced in E. Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 192 amino acids (1-169 AA) and having a molecular mass of 21.1kDa. MECOM is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.
