General Description of Recombinant Human PLA1A.
Human PLA1A produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 454 amino acids (26-456) and having a molecular mass of 49.5kDa. PLA1A is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.
