General Description of Recombinant Human PSTPIP1.
Human PSTPIP1 produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 439 amino acids (1-416) and having a molecular mass of 50 kDa. PSTPIP1 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.
