General Description of Recombinant Human S100B.
Human S100B produced in E. Coli is single, a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain fused to a GST tag and having a total molecular mass of 36kDa. The S100B is purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.
