General Description of Recombinant Human STAMBP.
Human STAMBP produced in E. coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 447 amino acids (1-424) and having a molecular mass of 50kDa. STAMBP is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by using an optimized multi-step FPLC method for maximum separation from contaminants.
