Rat IL 15 Bioactive Protein Product Attributes
Product Type: Bioactive Protein
Recombinant IL 15 based upon sequence from Rat
Host: QP10693 protein expressed in E. Coli.
Available Tags: Untagged
Protein Construction: A cDNA sequence encoding the sequence of IL 15 was constructred and used to recombinantly synthesize the protein.
Recommended Applications: Bioactive
Application Notes
Recommended Reconstitution Instructions: It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interleukin-15 in sterile 18MΩ.cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Bioactivity Data: The ED50 as determined by the dose-dependant stimulation of the proliferation of CTLL-2 was found to be < 10 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 100,000IU/mg.
Amino Acid Sequence: MKILKPYMRN TSILYYLCFL LNSHFLTEAG IHVFILGCVS VGLPKTEANW IDVRYDLEKI ESLIQFIHID TTLYTDSDFH PSCKVTAMNC FLLELQVILH EYSNMTLNET VRNVLYLANS TLSSNKNVIE SGCKECEELE ERNFTEFLQS FIHIVQMFIN TS
Purity: Greater than 98.0% as determined by(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Endotoxin Levels: < 1.0 EU per ug protein as determined by the LAL method.
Buffer: The protein was lyophilized from 10mM Tris, pH 8.5.
Storage Conditions: Lyophilized Interleukin-15 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution IL15 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Physical Appearance: Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
